Science is showing that your Fitness level (especially cardiovascular fitness) is a vital sign. Having low fitness levels is associated with an increased risk of all-cause mortality and chronic diseases. Studies show that by becoming more fit, you can lower your risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, obesity, osteoporosis and certain cancers. You can also maintain your independence and functionality for longer.

Dr George Cho CEP ND has a Masters degree in Fitness Science and a certificate in Fitness Assessment & Exercise Counselling from York University. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Dr Cho has conducted fitness assessments for the following groups:
